Most of us take for granted the opportunities we had in early life - a good home, education, security - but these are not the experience of everyone. The Prince’s Trust offers financial assistance, training, personal development, advice and support to young people who need some help to be able to fulfil their ambitions, improve their skills and make a real contribution to their community or the environment.

Some need a job or somewhere to live. Some have a business idea they are keen to pursue but lack the financial resources and knowledge. Some need support to realise an ambition or to improve their exam results. Some want to work with others and play an active part in their community. Others want to work and share experience with their counterparts in Europe and beyond.

We help young people in thousands of individual ways, and very often they go on to give back something in return. Several have achieved the highest level in their field, showing the way by example. Others have set up businesses of great originality which have become commercial successes. A number now work with The Trust - helping other young people to develop their own potential.
